Every section of a Single Status Affidavit — header, body, stamps, signature block, registry footer — has a corresponding fixed expression in the target legal language. The translator's job is matching them, not creating them. A non-specialist may translate "นายอำเภอ" as "District Officer" when the receiving authority specifically expects "Registrar" or "Chief District Officer", and that mismatch alone is enough to trigger a re-filing.

Validity is typically only 3–6 months depending on the receiving country. Plan translation and legalization timing carefully.

The Single Status Affidavit is almost never accepted as a standalone submission; the receiving Japanese office typically wants several of the supporting items below in the same envelope.

Chinese, Japanese and Korean offices read translated Thai documents against a fixed glossary of registry titles — "นายทะเบียน" must map onto the term their own internal forms use, not a literal dictionary translation.

For the Single Status Affidavit specifically, our Japanese desk pays particular attention to:

• Official seals & stamps. Thai stamps and signatures are described in the target language so overseas officers can verify authenticity.
• Form codes. The Thai form code "คร.2" is preserved verbatim in the translation header.
• Dates & calendars. The Thai Buddhist year (พ.ศ.) must be converted to the Common Era; we provide both formats side-by-side.
