Treating a Passport as ordinary prose is the single most common reason these files come back stamped "ไม่ผ่าน". The Thai original is, in effect, a controlled vocabulary disguised as a paragraph. Thai-numeral Buddhist-era dates (๒๕๖๗) must be rendered in Sanskrit numerals AND converted to Common Era on the same line; missing either half of that pair is the single fastest way to lose an MFA submission slot.

Translation of the data page is rarely required (it is already bilingual), but a notarized certified copy is frequently requested.

Most Sanskrit registrars file the translated Passport as part of a small packet; the items below are the ones their checklists most often include alongside it.

South Asian missions read translator declarations closely — the certifier's full name, license number and contact must be legible on every page before the embassy will stamp.

For the Passport specifically, our Sanskrit desk pays particular attention to:

• Name transliteration. Sanskrit authorities check the translated name against your passport — any mismatch is grounds for rejection.
• Form codes. Original Thai reference numbers and registration codes are preserved verbatim.
