🇳🇿 Single Status Affidavit → Māori

Our internal QA describes the Single Status Affidavit as a "high-density, low-tolerance" file: a handful of lines, dozens of facts, zero room for the translator to be creative. Where the original ใบรับรองโสด reuses a registrar title in different tenses, the Māori version must preserve the tense distinction — confusing "registered" with "is registering" changes the document's legal effect.

Validity is typically only 3–6 months depending on the receiving country. Plan translation and legalization timing carefully.

The Single Status Affidavit is almost never accepted as a standalone submission; the receiving Māori office typically wants several of the supporting items below in the same envelope.

Australia requires NAATI-certified translation directly; New Zealand accepts certified translation by NAATI or an NZTC-recognised translator.

For the Single Status Affidavit specifically, our Māori desk pays particular attention to:

• Form codes. The Thai form code "คร.2" is preserved verbatim in the translation header.
• Officer titles. Registrar, Chief District Officer and District Officer are kept distinct, mapped to whichever term the destination registry uses internally.
• Name transliteration. Māori authorities check the translated name against your passport — any mismatch is grounds for rejection.
• Official seals & stamps. Thai stamps and signatures are described in the target language so overseas officers can verify authenticity.
• Dates & calendars. The Thai Buddhist year (พ.ศ.) must be converted to the Common Era; we provide both formats side-by-side.

Every file moves through the same checklist; you receive a status note as it clears each gate:

1. Document intake. Send us a high-resolution PDF/photo of the original Single Status Affidavit. We verify it is a current Amphur or court-issued copy.
