Why Singapore Requires This Document
- Singapore requires House Registration to carry an Apostille (Hague 1961) before universities and immigration accept it.
- Universities including NUS, NTU, SMU mandate certified translation plus Apostille before issuing I-20 / CAS / Letter of Acceptance.
- The Student's Pass (ICA) adjudicator inspects House Registration to validate genuine credentials and prevent fraud — every page must show a complete authentication chain.
