Why Switzerland Requires This Document
- Switzerland requires Birth Certificate to carry an Apostille (Hague 1961) before universities and immigration accept it.
- Universities including ETH Zurich, EPFL, Zurich mandate certified translation plus Apostille before issuing I-20 / CAS / Letter of Acceptance.
- Family visa, citizenship, marriage abroad, minor student visa — this is the principal document inspected during final visa adjudication (18% refusal rate without proper chain, <2% with our service).
