When a foreign registrar scans a translated Passport, they are matching specific cells of information against an internal template — the prose only has to faithfully expose those cells in the right order, with the right labels. Where the original หนังสือเดินทาง reuses a registrar title in different tenses, the French version must preserve the tense distinction — confusing "registered" with "is registering" changes the document's legal effect.

Translation of the data page is rarely required (it is already bilingual), but a notarized certified copy is frequently requested.
