The Passport carries a structure most overseas registrars recognise instantly — and just as instantly reject when the translator has improvised on a single term. The terminology is the document. Administrative units like "ตำบล", "แขวง" and "เขต" carry distinct weight that must surface in Ukrainian; flattening them into one English word erases the level of authority the foreign registrar is trying to verify.

Translation of the data page is rarely required (it is already bilingual), but a notarized certified copy is frequently requested.

The Passport is almost never accepted as a standalone submission; the receiving Ukrainian office typically wants several of the supporting items below in the same envelope.

EU/EEA countries vary by sworn-translator regime: Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal and the Netherlands each require translations executed by an officially sworn translator either locally or through MFA legalisation in Bangkok.

For the Passport specifically, our Ukrainian desk pays particular attention to:

• Official seals & stamps. Thai stamps and signatures are described in the target language so overseas officers can verify authenticity.
• Form codes. Original Thai reference numbers and registration codes are preserved verbatim.
• Officer titles. Registrar, Chief District Officer and District Officer are kept distinct, mapped to whichever term the destination registry uses internally.
• Dates & calendars. The Thai Buddhist year (พ.ศ.) must be converted to the Common Era; we provide both formats side-by-side.
• Name transliteration. Ukrainian authorities check the translated name against your passport — any mismatch is grounds for rejection.

• Transliteration — converting Thai script names into Ukrainian characters; must match the spelling in your passport.
